Hiratsuka, Japan — The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. has announced that it has renewed its partnership agreement with KONDO RACING and will compete in the SP9 class of the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring and the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) with the Ferrari 296 GT3 EVO.
Previous collaborations between KONDO RACING and Yokohama Rubber at the Nürburgring 24 Hours produced a strong result in 2019, when the team secured 9th place overall. In 2025, KONDO RACING finished 2nd in the qualifying race and delivered an impressive performance in the main event, remaining among the front-runners for most of the race.
In 2026, Yokohama Rubber will support KONDO RACING’s Ferrari 296 GT3 EVO in its bid for victory in the top SP9 class, equipping the car with Yokohama’s ADVAN racing tyres. These tyres provide the exceptional handling performance and reliability required to win one of the world’s most demanding endurance races.
KONDO RACING, led by Team Director Masahiko Kondo, is a major force in motorsport with a strong track record in Japanese championships such as the Super Formula Championship and Super GT, as well as in some of the toughest endurance races in the world, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Nürburgring 24 Hours. Yokohama Rubber has built a strong partnership with KONDO RACING, supporting the team in both domestic and international competitions.
In addition to its collaboration with KONDO RACING, Yokohama Rubber will supply tyres to several leading teams competing this season in the Nürburgring 24 Hours and the NLS, aiming to secure another overall championship for a car equipped with YOKOHAMA tyres.
