Reykjavík, Iceland, 16 June 2026 – YOKOHAMA strengthens its position in Europe’s rapidly expanding all-season segment with the introduction of the new BluEarth-AllSeason2, developed to support the Company’s commitment to a more localised product strategy in Europe.

The tyre was unveiled in Iceland – one of Europe’s most demanding environments due to its highly unpredictable weather – in front of more than 100 customers and journalists, showcasing its ability to deliver trust, control and confidence when reliability and safety matter most.

Engineered for versatility across a wide range of conditions, BluEarth-AllSeason2 delivers significantly improved dry and wet performance, combined with enhanced snow capabilities supported by advanced COLD TECH technology, ensuring confidence and control throughout the year. The new tyre also reflects YOKOHAMA’s approach to product development, integrating performance with efficiency and durability – key requirements for European drivers.

Combining performance with efficiency and long-lasting durability, BluEarth-AllSeason2 meets the evolving expectations of European drivers, who demand versatile solutions without sacrificing driving experience and require consistency and control year-round.

As the all-season segment continues to expand rapidly across Europe, BluEarth-AllSeason2 positions YOKOHAMA to capture new opportunities and strengthen its footprint in this key category.

The launch also marks a further step in YOKOHAMA Europe’s product portfolio, building on recent introductions such as ADVAN Sport V107, ADVAN Sport EV and the ADVAN Winter – all developed with a strong focus on European market requirements.

It also reflects the growing strategic importance of Europe within YOKOHAMA’s overall growth strategy, with the region delivering strong performance and confirming the Group’s increased commitment to further support its continued expansion.

Gregorio Borgo, President of Yokohama Europe and Managing Officer of Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., commented: “European drivers increasingly expect one tyre to cover a wide range of conditions. With BluEarth-AllSeason2, we are delivering a solution that combines safety, performance and everyday usability in a highly dynamic segment.”

Takashi Maki, CEO of Yokohama Europe, added:

“BluEarth-AllSeason2 clearly demonstrates The Yokohama Rubber Company’s commitment to growth in Europe, a region that is playing an increasingly important role in our global expansion strategy. As performance across the region continues to strengthen, the company is reinforcing the focus on Europe through a more localised product approach and a broader portfolio tailored to market needs.”

BluEarth-AllSeason2 Technical Performance

At the core of BluEarth-AllSeason2 development is YOKOHAMA’s HAICoLab (Humans and AI ColLab) Technology, which combines human expertise with advanced AI modelling to optimise tyre design. By analysing design factors alongside tyre behaviour, the system enhances the contact patch, delivering a more uniform footprint and a +5% increase in contact area, resulting in improved stability and grip in all driving conditions.

BluEarth-AllSeason2 delivers significantly upgraded performance in dry and wet conditions through increased surface contact, a highly robust structure and greater block rigidity, resulting in improved handling stability and more precise control.

The refined, symmetrical V-shaped tread pattern further enhances stability, optimises water evacuation and reduces the risk of hydroplaning, ensuring consistent performance in demanding conditions.

An optimised 3D sipe configuration maximises edge effect while limiting tread block deformation, improving traction and maintaining a stable, reliable contact patch during acceleration, cornering and braking. The silica-rich compound plays a central role in this performance balance, enhancing wet grip, while YOKOHAMA’s proprietary A.R.T. Mixing Technology improves silica dispersion, increasing flexibility and sustaining grip across a wide range of temperatures

Building on the strengths of its predecessor, BluEarth-AllSeason2 maintains the high standards of winter performance, while further improving snow handling thanks to COLD TECH technology, which is maximizing winter road surface contact.

Available in 74 sizes, BluEarth-AllSeason2 has been developed for premium passenger cars, SUVs and BEVs, supporting YOKOHAMA’s ambition to further strengthen its presence in one of Europe’s most dynamic and strategically important tyre segments.
